My joy is to dress each project in great, eye catching graphics.  Smart branding and collateral can make a company, service or product stand out as recognizable.  It takes  strategy and planning to find what will work best - then add art.  From there it becomes the glorious print media, web content and eye catching digital campaigns.  The goal being to draw people in for more.

 

DESIGN FOR WEB

ABOVE - Creating a CMS Site.  The Stafford Homes responsive website was created by Jeffery Plummer in Adobe MUSE.  Best practices meant converting the site to a Webflow CMS.  All images and formatting were kept intact for brand familiarity and current Google Ads campaigns.  This freed me from being web master; opening up editing & maintenance to the in-house marketing team upon my departure.  (As of 1/2020 not certain current Stafford authored site works correctly)

RIGHT - Giving life to a logo.  Stafford had a text line logo.  The problem was that name did not yet explain what they did.  My first task was to somehow tell the market that Stafford built new homes.  The image here shows the result.

The role of graphics in business is to tell a target audience WHO you are and WHAT you offer. The images collected below are a sample of how the Stafford theme of design was carried into web, interactive advertising, and print media.  Growing a new company takes passion.  Over the next 4 years my passion was to make certain every layout communicated the Stafford story in an instant.

GRAPHICS + MEDIA

A business card is not the finish.  In our current business climate, we cannot wait for customers to see our sign and walk in.  Modern marketing requires meeting the customer where THEY are.  That will require banner ads, print media, PPC web campaigns, social media injection, event sponsorships, advertising buy-ins, Google Ads, Google MyBusiness, and constant postings to show that you and your business are relevant.  I create web ads that fit any browser, in static and animated HTML5 versions.  Above you see an animated GIF advertisement that was part of a campaign reaching from the Willamette Valley into Northern California.  Several such campaigns are required to reach the targeted audience radar.
It does not end with the spend.  To see the ROI it is key to use Google Analytics for stats.  Why spend for no return?  And I have also found huge value in having a 'live chat operator on any website that has a client facing page.  Tools such as Zendesk not only offer this chat module, but some data rich stat reporting.
All of these elements should be and are part of a comprehensive branding and graphic package.

Every new home community needs a name, a logo and theme of design.  All marketing is based on having somehow captured the location and feel of the project.  Once I design the logo, then a color set is decided upon.  These branding items are placed on signs, plats, web landing pages, print media and even Google Maps.  I have completed maybe 30 such project logo sets over the years.
The logo images below display the theme colors on the sidebar.

 

And then get the information out there. With the theme of design completed, proper plat maps can be prepared, printed and placed at the project/subdivision site.  These large signs are typically 8' tall and help buyers select the lot and house plan desired.
